Harry Jarrett, Lead Pastor, and Beth Jarrett, Associate Pastor, joined
the staff in 2006.
Harry and Beth were first called to serve as missionaries with Youth Evangelism Service for
a year doing street evangelism to help start a church in Bari, Italy in 1987.
After that year they were asked to return to Sicily as long term
missionaries. They accepted the invitation and served nine more years as
church planting missionaries. Both were privileged to participate
directly in planting five new Mennonite churches.
Upon returning to the
United States in August of 2000 Harry entered seminary at Eastern Mennonite Seminary and began serving as
Associate Pastor at Harrisonburg Mennonite Church. He served for six
years as pastor of Praise Fellowship, an alternative service that met
in the Fellowship Hall and during that time completed his MDIV.
Beth served as choir director at Harrisonburg Mennonite for four years, then served as the Director of Youth Ministries at Pleasant Valley
Church of the Brethren for two years. She entered seminary and completed her MDIV as well during this time.
In the last six months
of their time in Harrisonburg, VA they had a vision for a new church plant in Harrisonburg and,
with others, founded The Table that currently meets at Eastern
Mennonite Seminary.
In the summer of 2000 they were invited to serve in their current roles at Neffsville Mennonite Church. They have three children,
Sarah, Chris, and Harrison.
